VisitEDUfinn’s mission is to promote the good practices of Finnish education offering cost-effective solutions for education professionals. We organize school visits, study tours, educational conferences in Finland and training programs worldwide to inspire teachers, principals and local authorities.
VisitEDUfinn Ltd. was founded in 2016 by education professionals with a track record of organizing successful events, study tours and school visits in other organizations. VisitEDUfinn is the official member of Education Finland. Education Finland is a governmental cluster programme supporting the best education providers in their growth on the international market. The programme is coordinated by the Finnish National Agency for Education.
Solid growth of the company was rewarded in 2018 when VisitEDUfinn Ltd. earned The Strongest in Finland -certificate. The certificate is a sign of a company’s positive financial figures, background information and good payment behaviour. That tells the customers, partners, credit allowers and other stakeholders that cooperation with the company is on a steady foundation. The certificate is based on the Rating Alfa -credit rating of Suomen Asiakastieto.
VisitEDUfinn office is located in an old school building from the 19th century. The building has also been home for City of Helsinki’s Center for Education and Development and since 2014 it has been the Center for Entrepreneurship. The office is only 15-minute walk from the City Center; Finnish National Agency for Education and University of Helsinki’s Department of Education are also nearby.

Mr. Korosuo (M.Sc.) is specialized in International Business and Education. After his pedagogical studies at the University of Helsinki and working as a lecturer at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and Helsinki Business College, he has dedicated to promote Finnish Education internationally. Among other projects, he has spent several months in Colombia in 2016 and 2017, consulting the local Ministry of Education. Since 2016 he has worked as a CEO of VisitEDUfinn and Customer Relationship Manager of Haaga-Helia.t.

Simo Pokki
Mr. Pokki is the chairman of the board of VisitEDUfinn Ltd. He has made a long career as an education consultant, having his own company since 1995. He is kindergarten teacher and has also worked as a head of public kindergarten in 90´s. Simo was in local politics for 20 years, working most of the time as chairman of the board of education in one of the biggest cities in Finland, city of Vantaa. He knows well Finnish education system and has close networks in Finland. He established VisitEDUfinn Ltd. 2015 with four partners. He has been also popular speaker and trainer during more than two decades.

Ms. Roos (teacher of early years, PhD) has over 10 years of experience as a teacher and a leader in Finnish child care centers. For the past 10 years she worked as a teacher in vocational collage for practical nurses majoring in early childhood education. Now Roos works as a lecturer and consult through her own company (www.piiaroos.fi). In addition, she is a partner in VisitEDUfinn Ltd. Her special interests are children's perspective and participation. Her doctoral thesis focuses on children's narration and the everyday life in Finnish child care centers.

She believes that by incorporating physical activity and new forms of functionality and devices into teaching, we can tackle many of today’s challenges in the field of education. She currently works at the International School of Vantaa close to Helsinki, Finland.
