Finnish and Estonian education
VisitEDUfinn’s aim is to give teachers from Europe and all over the world a possibility to visit Finnish or Estonian schools, connect with Finnish or Estonian teachers and familiarize themselves with the innovative pedagogical ideas. Sometimes it feels that the only constant in teaching is constant change, and educators must always try to be one step ahead. Our programs are designed to meet this continuous development need, but what does not change that much however, is the unique atmosphere and interrelations in the Finnish or Estonian schools. For many visitors, this seems to be the most important lessons of their study trip, as proves the following feedback: “The most interesting thing about the Finnish school is the respect and love relationship between teacher and students. I could see education goes well based on them.”

Erasmus Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals
VisitEDUfinn (OID CODE: E10020922 / PIC CODE: 899855324) organizes ERASMUS+ mobility opportunities for pupils and staff in school education. Our services include job shadowing at different school levels, professional development courses designed for teachers, and group mobilities for pupils. Our programs are organized in different parts of Finland and Estonia in cooperation with other stakeholders in the field of education (schools, universities, municipalities). All our courses include at least one benchmarking visit to a Finnish or Estonian school, where you can observe Finnish or Estonian education in practice.
All the courses are designed following the Quality Standards for courses under Key Action 1 and participants are provided with certificates that meet the Europass criteria.
If you don’t have yet ERASMUS+ grant inform your institution (kindergarten or school) that you’d like to attend because individuals can not apply for an Erasmus+ grant on their own. When your organization’s grant application is approved, select a course from our calendar or sign up for job shadowing.
For groups of 10 or more participants, we can also plan a customized course, for instance, about Innovative teaching methods and pedagogy in Finland. The standard price for a 7-day (Sun-Sat) course would be 660€ per participant, and the price for a 5-day (Mon-Fri) course would be 500€ per participant.
