How to teach Financial Literacy?
Financial literacy promotes students’ financial independence. It helps them plan their lives, manage personal budgets, save for the future, and avoid debt. Are you interested in learning how to teach this crucial topic in an impactful way?
Join VisitEDUfinn’s  How to Teach Financial Literacytraining. This 7-day course adopts a design thinking and phenomenon-based learning approach to help you develop engaging activities for teaching financial literacy. Workshop themes include:

  • Managing personal finances and financial risks
  • Smart consumerism
  • Recognizing financial scams
  • Understanding employment and social responsibilities
  • Creating an entrepreneurial mindset

The course also provides new insights into implementing team-based activities across various topics and introduces free digital tools you can use with your students. During this hands-on course, we will visit a local vocational school, and cook a meal
together in a Finnish middle school home economics classroom. The training even includes a day trip to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
