Frequently Asked Questions about Registration and Fees
EDUCA SCHOOL VISIT
The most practical solution for individuals and small groups.
You can be an education professional or a student, a business person, or a tourist. The only requirement is that you are interested in Finnish education and eager to see how learning occurs in a typical classroom setting. During the visit, you will have time to talk with Finnish teachers and ask about their teaching practices, methods, or challenges during their daily work. The visit also includes the Finnish school lunch – famous for being offered to every student for free.
The school that we will visit during the Educa fair, is a comprehensive school, with grades 1-9, and has students between the ages of 7 and 16.
SAVE THE DATE: January 26, 2024
The visit being organized at the same time as the free Educa Fair and Exhibition, this is a great possibility to make the most of your trip to Finland at a low cost.

PRIVATE SCHOOL VISITS
If the Educa School Visit date is not suitable for you or you want to visit, for instance, a kindergarten or a high school, you can book a Private School Visit. It would be exactly the same, but you can choose the visit date between September 1st until December 15th and from January 15th until May 15th.
We can organize Private School Visits for any type of school, except for university: kindergartens (1-5 years), pre-primary (6 years), primary (7-12 years), lower secondary (13-15 years), high schools, or vocational schools (16-18 years). You can choose your preference during the online registration process.
To participate in a Private School Visit, please get in touch with info@visitedufinn.com, indicating the date and the number of persons. After we have confirmed that the date is suitable (no school holidays), you can register.
CUSTOMIZED SCHOOL VISITS
Want to visit a school with a particular theme? Are you interested in adding an expert lecture to the visit or have multiple visits? Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at info@visitedufinn.com for a proposal. If you have a bigger group, read more about the different options for Study Tours, and try our Study Tour Cost Calculator.
We can also organize LIVE virtual visits to Finnish schools or add different online elements to your onsite visit in Finland.
ACCOMMODATION
The participants can freely choose their accommodation. However, we highly recommend being located close to Senate Square as the most interesting sights are within walking distance from the Square. For those with a limited budget, Eurohostel is an excellent option.

Several Taxi companies are offering their services in the airport. The price to the city center is approximately 50€. There are also public transportation options; both the railway and bus station are located in the airport. The price is around 5€, depending on whether you pay cash or use an application or ticket machine.
