To give you an idea of what to see during our school visits, we have selected the best videos we found on YouTube showing Finnish schools and classrooms. As in our school visits, you will see modern and traditional school buildings and learning environments. What does not change that much between different schools, however, is the atmosphere and interrelations between teachers and students. In other words, the unique feeling inside a Finnish classroom.
We are also organizing several times a year LIVE virtual visits to Finnish classrooms. During these “tasting visits”, you can observe a Finnish teacher having a typical lessons at a Finnish school and after the lessons, there is time to discuss with the teacher about the teaching methods he or she was using during the visit.
Ms. Rauhala (B.A.) is an educational sciences student at the University of Turku with studies also in the fields of psychology, business and HR, and sociology. As an education major, she is passionate about lifelong learning and the Finnish education system. She believes in change through education. In addition, Ms. Rauhala loves to learn new languages. She completed an Erasmus + university exchange in Spain as a part of her studies and wants to work toward everyone getting international learning opportunities. Ms. Rauhala is working for VisitEDUfinn part-time while finishing her studies.
