We have customized a special school visit opportunity for education enthusiasts attending the Educa event. You will see how learning occurs in a typical classroom setting. During the visit, you will also have time to talk with Finnish teachers and ask about their teaching practices, methods, or challenges during their daily work. The visit also includes the famous Finnish school lunch.
If the Educa School Visit date is not suitable for you, or you want to visit for instance a kindergarten or a high school, you can book a Private School Visit. It would be exactly the same but you can choose the date between September 1 until December 15 and from January 15 until May 15.
Learn from the famous Finnish education system by shadowing Finnish teachers. You will see everyday life in Finnish schools and shadow local teachers to see how ideas could be integrated into your classroom at a practical level.
This comprehensive program includes two expert meetings, providing in-depth insights from Finnish educators. A guided start ensures a smooth introduction to Finnish education and culture. The highlight of the program is a three-day job shadowing experience at a local school, where you’ll observe lessons and engage with local teachers. Experience the fusion of theory and practice.
Our courses are never only about listening to lecturers, but getting involved, doing hands-on activities, visiting schools, and discovering Finnish culture to reveal the secrets of the happiest nation of the world. Hope to meet you soon! You can select a 5-day or 7-day adventure. The courses are priced to align with Erasmus+ KA1 mobility grants (but note: Erasmus+ funding is not mandatory, all teachers, also from outside the EU, are warmly welcome!)
Discounts and customized courses available for bigger groups! Contact info@visitedufinn.com for more information.

Study tours or educational tours are programs that take more than one day and include visits to different schools or other educational visits. Often the study tours – also called study visits or technical visits – include expert lectures or workshops about the themes that most interest the group. Our study tours are customized according to your themes of interest.
If the Open School Visit dates are not suitable for you or you want to visit for instance a kindergarten or a high school, you can book a Private School Visit. It would be exactly the same but you can choose the date between September 1st until December 15th and from January 15th until May 15th.
Our study tours for students include the possibility to attend Finnish classrooms with Finnish students, so the participants will get an authentic experience of learning like a Finn. The students can stay at the school for just a couple of hours, visit different schools, or stay more time at the same school and for a better chance to interact with Finnish students and get a deeper Finnish school experience.
VisitEDUfinn Ltd. is offering online meetings with selected Finnish education experts. Meet a Finnish Expert is available for individuals and small groups of up to 30 participants.
Learn like a Finn – workshops are aimed at local administration, school personnel, teacher training units, parents and other school related stakeholders.
For universities, associations and other conference organizers we provide the opportunity to invite our top experts to hold a seminar about Finnish education system. In our network, we have experienced teachers, principals, researchers and policy makers, so we can offer a wide perspective on educational questions.
VisitEDUfinn is pioneering now LIVE virtual visit programs and educational tours. COVID-19 has given the necessary push to develop our “traditional” visit concept into something totally new, and even more beneficial for our clients, without compromising the elements of an authentic experience.
Thanks to our network of Finnish teachers and schools, we can offer your class a virtual visit to a Finnish school, to meet local students, discuss with them and even have a joint learning project. We will find a class with similar objectives; facilitate the visit and arrange the platform for the learning project.
VisitEDUfinn Ltd. is the only organization in the world offering online meetings with selected Finnish teachers and principals. Meeting a Finnish teacher or principal is open to everyone; teachers, principals, school owners, consultants, education influencers, governmental officials, parents, etc. can ask questions or just discuss and share his/her ideas or experiences about education.
VisitEDUfinn Ltd. offers an online mini-course library of different educational themes and how they are applied in Finnish education. All the courses include videos, pictures, further readings, and questions for self-reflection. Passing one course will take approximately 1-2 hours.
VisitEDUfinn Ltd. has developed a modular Virtual Finnish Teacher Training Course together with a Finnish University. You will learn to apply the Finnish phenomenon-based, learning-centered teaching concept both in theory and in practice, understand the thinking behind it, and be able to consider how to use these principles in your own country and school.
Learning alongside Finnish teachers is a new and unique way to study together with Finnish teachers. Half of the participants are from Finland; the other half are from other countries. During the training, you will connect and share peer-to-peer experiences via WhatsApp.
